MISSION
My mission is to create a safe and nurturing space where individuals and couples can access their inner resources in order to navigate through challenges and enrich the quality of their lives. I believe cultivating present moment awareness is the key to living with vitally and with purpose. I aim to promote healing and education through non-judgement and compassion. I am also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP).
CLIENTS
I provide tailored mindfulness-based therapy to individual clients and couples. I am also dedicated to making mindfulness a daily part of my own life and I strive to be present with myself so that I may be present with my clients every day.
I offer free online guided meditations. Using technology is a great way to get started on your meditation journey.

WHAT IS COUNSELING?
The human experience can be difficult at times and seeing a licensed counselor is one way to improve the quality of your life. Counseling is collaborative effort between a client or couple and their counselor. A counselor can assist a client to improve emotional regulation during difficult times, improve interpersonal and communication skills, and to learn new coping skills.
Are you ready for counseling? Here are some things to know about my process and then you decide if we could work together easily. The relationship between you and I is the most important thing. My role is to be a safe, compassionate, and competent guide as you embark on your journey of change. I use mindfulness-based psychotherapy models. Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of the present moment in a compassionate and accepting way. The practice of mindfulness is learning to shift the focus of your attention to the present moment and to allow the moment to be exactly the way it is, free from judgement, criticism, or attachment.
A therapy session with me will typically involve the experiential practice of a guided mindfulness meditation, clarifying your goals and values, and "homework" to help create new habits. I recommend weekly sessions to begin with in order to maximize absorption of new information, skills, and practices. It takes time to incorporate new ways of being in the world and I am honored to accompany you on your journey of transformation.
